Stick Horse Show and New Hats!

When I told Aiden that the annual Lions Club Stick Horse Show was that evening, he said, I'll need a cowboy hat, just like Uncle Lance! So naturally we went right out and bought one for him and one for Cooper! They were ADORABLE! Seriously, the Stick Horse Show used to be cute, but lets be honest, kinda blah, UNTIL its your children out there with stick horses and cowboy hats! Suddenly I turn into crazy mom with the camera, trying to capture every nostalgic moment of the evening!

Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-2

Its PRESCHOOL TIME! Aiden has thoroughly enjoyed himself in preschool! He now spends his Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-2 with Ms. Connie, Ms. Deborah, and Ms. Christy! He loves them to pieces, and waits every Monday and Wednesday night for the next morning! I am so impressed with his zest to learn and have fun! Hopefully he is making friends...I am sure he is, but doesn't ever tell us his friends names. He only talks about Caden (Walker) who was on his tball team this summer. Pool fun, and a Sunburn...

This morning was pool day with the Cornwall cousins!! Aiden and Cooper were so excited to head to the pool they were waiting at the garage door in their jammies. Much to their dismay, the pool doesn't open till 10:30...it was 7am. They officially had three and a half hours to kill. Well, trucks, breakfast, trucks on the track, getting dressed, making sandwiches for the pool, mom getting dressed, & more trucks, more than filled the time before we left.

Before they knew it we were pulling into the rec center parking lot. I sunscreened the boys before we left the house, and sunscreened all the Cornwall cousins when they got there....but who did I forget??? ME! I am now a lobster....a nice reminder of a super fun day! Too bad the sunburn is not as fun as the pool.

OH, by the way, if you have never tried BURN FREE for a sunburn or any other burn...give it a go....its the BEST!!

What a great night! The weather was perfect, the whole family was there, and we almost made it to the 6th inning! LOL, that's having young children right? When they are done, they're done :)

I miss YOU my friend...

Britt, I miss you more today than ever. Not because today is special, but I think I miss you more on days like this! The days that I would have seen you just because, shared a trip to target, skipped a class of Kindermusic just because we were a bit late :) I keep trying to figure out a way to see you soon, and the things of life seem to keep piling up. It may have to be for only a couple of days, but it will be worth it to see you if only for a minute! I love you my friend and hope to see you so soon!

Friday was Aiden's birthday and I am just sitting down to post about it. He is such a sweet, spunky, smart, funny, loving, stubborn, energetic, caring, great example of what a 3 year old big brother and little boy should be!

The morning of his birthday, he woke up and came downstairs where Cooper and I were waiting for him. I reminded him that it was his birthday and asked him if he felt older. His reply was "Yes, I do feel bigger...I am 3 now!!! Don't I look taller?"

He has been such a blessing and a wonderful life changing little man to make me a mommy for the first time. It was because of him and the great love that filled me up that made me want more children.

Aiden, we love you more than words could say and are proud of the choices you make (most of them :) ). We love watching you explore new things, and how you are learning to become a BIG BOY!

Mother's Day

It is 4am on Mother's Day 2010 and here I am blogging of all things. I have been coughed on, puked on, cried at (by both boys) tonight, and I couldn't be happier to be a Momma! I have 2 beautiful, wonderful, little boys and a husband to match!

I was sitting downstairs with Cooper at 3am while he just couldn't get comfortable (he was the cougher/puker), and Aiden woke up calling for me because Cooper woke him up with all the crying. Josh went up to check on Aiden and that was the last I heard from both of them. When I went to put Cooper in his bed, I peeked in on Aiden only to find, Aiden, Josh, and Tullah all snuggled up in Aiden's tiny little twin size bed. It was so cute!

I love these boys (all 3 of them) more than life itself! I couldn't be a happier, prouder, more grateful Mommy! Happy Mother's Day to my Mom, my Mother in law, my best friend, and all of the other wonderful Mommies out there! It is not easy work being a Mom, but I wouldn't trade it for ANYTHING else in the world!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COOPER!!!!

This time last year I was in very very very active labor with our sweet Cooper. My mom came to stay with Aiden and Josh and I were off to the hospital. It wasn't long before my water broke and Cooper was in my arms. About 3 hours start to finish. I am feeling a lot of the same emotions tonight as I prepare for his first birthday party. I love him so much. He is my shadow, and next to Aiden my biggest fan! I don't want to imagine what my life would be like without my boys.

Here are a few things that we love love love about our Cooper:

1. He loves his Mommy! *Okay, that is one thing that I love hehe*

2. He gives great loves

3. He makes a mean car noise when playing with Aiden

4. He and Aiden are best friends

5. His BIG blue eyes! *they can melt your heart*

6. His SMILE! *he lights up the room!*

7. How hard he laughs at peek a boo, even though he knows your coming LOL!

8. How much he enjoys his baths and how he will try to climb into yours if he's not part of it!

9. The joy we see when he is walking around and loving his newfound independence!

10. The love and joy he has brought to our family!!!!
