I miss YOU my friend...

Britt, I miss you more today than ever. Not because today is special, but I think I miss you more on days like this! The days that I would have seen you just because, shared a trip to target, skipped a class of Kindermusic just because we were a bit late :) I keep trying to figure out a way to see you soon, and the things of life seem to keep piling up. It may have to be for only a couple of days, but it will be worth it to see you if only for a minute! I love you my friend and hope to see you so soon!

Friday was Aiden's birthday and I am just sitting down to post about it. He is such a sweet, spunky, smart, funny, loving, stubborn, energetic, caring, great example of what a 3 year old big brother and little boy should be!

The morning of his birthday, he woke up and came downstairs where Cooper and I were waiting for him. I reminded him that it was his birthday and asked him if he felt older. His reply was "Yes, I do feel bigger...I am 3 now!!! Don't I look taller?"

He has been such a blessing and a wonderful life changing little man to make me a mommy for the first time. It was because of him and the great love that filled me up that made me want more children.

Aiden, we love you more than words could say and are proud of the choices you make (most of them :) ). We love watching you explore new things, and how you are learning to become a BIG BOY!

Mother's Day

It is 4am on Mother's Day 2010 and here I am blogging of all things. I have been coughed on, puked on, cried at (by both boys) tonight, and I couldn't be happier to be a Momma! I have 2 beautiful, wonderful, little boys and a husband to match!

I was sitting downstairs with Cooper at 3am while he just couldn't get comfortable (he was the cougher/puker), and Aiden woke up calling for me because Cooper woke him up with all the crying. Josh went up to check on Aiden and that was the last I heard from both of them. When I went to put Cooper in his bed, I peeked in on Aiden only to find, Aiden, Josh, and Tullah all snuggled up in Aiden's tiny little twin size bed. It was so cute!

I love these boys (all 3 of them) more than life itself! I couldn't be a happier, prouder, more grateful Mommy! Happy Mother's Day to my Mom, my Mother in law, my best friend, and all of the other wonderful Mommies out there! It is not easy work being a Mom, but I wouldn't trade it for ANYTHING else in the world!!

This time last year I was in very very very active labor with our sweet Cooper. My mom came to stay with Aiden and Josh and I were off to the hospital. It wasn't long before my water broke and Cooper was in my arms. About 3 hours start to finish. I am feeling a lot of the same emotions tonight as I prepare for his first birthday party. I love him so much. He is my shadow, and next to Aiden my biggest fan! I don't want to imagine what my life would be like without my boys.

Here are a few things that we love love love about our Cooper:

1. He loves his Mommy! *Okay, that is one thing that I love hehe*

2. He gives great loves

3. He makes a mean car noise when playing with Aiden

4. He and Aiden are best friends

5. His BIG blue eyes! *they can melt your heart*

6. His SMILE! *he lights up the room!*

7. How hard he laughs at peek a boo, even though he knows your coming LOL!

8. How much he enjoys his baths and how he will try to climb into yours if he's not part of it!

9. The joy we see when he is walking around and loving his newfound independence!

10. The love and joy he has brought to our family!!!!

Summer is Over...

Its time to say goodbye to summer and grab a jacket and a hat! Here's a few pics to bid adieu!

As Aiden was diving elbow deep into the paint, Katarina needed a little less messy approach! She was much tidier to begin with the paint brush. By the end they both had paint from head to toe which naturally ended in a trip to the bath tub! Good thing kids wash up so well :o)

Cooper and His Veggies/Fruits

Cooper has been watching everyone eat for a LONG time now, and around 5 months old we decided it was time to give him rice cereal. Well, it went really well. He makes yummy noises all the time, and so naturally I figured he would be ready for fruits and veggies in the coming weeks. So right around 6 months I break out the veggies. It was a NO GO! He gagged and made awful faces with the peas! Here are pictures of him trying to eat applesauce! I know it was mean, but I kept giving him bites to get the pictures. It was too funny! haha!

Now we are sitting pretty at 6 1/2 months and he decided two days ago that he is ready to eat his purees! He downed a full jar of veggies, and a full jar of fruit! Way to Go Cooper! Now he's making yummy noises all over the place!

Spring Hill Horse Show 2009

So, every year, the Spring Hill Lion's Club sponsers a horse show at Evan's park. The kids love it. They get to see tons of horses, and play, but most of all, they get to "compete" in the STICK HORSE category. Of course there is no real competition, everyone gets a blue ribbon. Who could choose any ways right? Well....Aiden is pretty cute! hehe! This is a tradition that has gone through all of the Cornwall grandkids. We have pics of Katelyn doing her first Stick Horse Show when she was 3ish. Gavin is still going strong at 6!

Well, I had prepped him all day long about the horse show. He was so excited! Around 2 o'clock we headed to Target to choose a horse. Well, the competition was tough....there was one and only one to chose from! So, we bought it! hehe! It was super cute though, and it even made galloping and neighing sounds!

As soon as we got there, we met up with Gavin and Heather for our number, and Gavin showed Aiden how to ride his stick horse. My mom had asked me if he was going to ride it, and I told her, no, I thought he'd trip on it. No way no sir, no tripping at all!!! He took right to it and immediately started saying "Giddie Up, Giddie Up!" It was soooo cute! I on the other hand immediately became a lunatic stage mom *hiding*! I was snapping pictures like it was nobody's business and ran around to get the best shot while he was in the arena! hehe! My kids will love me when they are older LOL!

After the show, we were on our way home, he kept saying...Momma, I numba 2! hehe!

HE PEE PEED ON THE POTTY!!!

Way to Go Aiden!!!! We are sooo proud of him! After a long time of trying to convince him to pee pee on the potty, he finally went! He went like 3 months ago, and would never go again. Josh has even put a jar of jelly beans (his fav) on the back of the big toilet to give him when/if he potties. Well, the beans weren't doing it and so we started giving beans just for sitting on the potty. We have had ALOT of sitting on the potty in the last couple days. Well tonight Josh was giving him a bath and sat him on the potty before, and gave him a bean. Then, while Aiden was in the tub he wanted more beans :o) This time Josh told him he had to pee pee in the potty to get beans. And, lo and behold HE DID IT! Yay Aiden! He even stood up and danced, singing Pee Pee on the Potty!!!! Cross your fingers for potty success in the morning!

We are Going to the Beach!!

I am soooo excited! We are heading off to the beach Labor Day weekend!
I haven't been since Aiden was 4 months old, and we didn't know before going down there, but it was red tide that month. We coughed and coughed and couldn't stand to be on the sand even. Josh and I haven't been to the beach together since our HONEYMOON! This should be super fun! We are ALL going! Travis and Jess will come in on Tuesday, Mom and Dad will go down on Saturday, and we have to decide a day to drive down with the boys. I am hopefull that we could go at bed time and they would sleep! Fingers Crossed!!

Anyways, Mom has booked a condo at this place called SPLASH! It looks like a lot of fun! There is a mini indoor water park, 2 pools, a splash pad, a lazy river, and of course right out the doors is the BEACH! I can't wait to see my Boys enjoy the water! I will post pictures when we come home!
